wrap-around solar

This pole-mounted wrap-around solution is a neat and efficient way to provide power for up to a 15-20W load. Mounted vertically, the 3 x 52W vertical panels are secured with solar brackets. As they face multiple directions, exposure to the sun is increased which, combined with the unique cell structure different from conventional cells, means they give yields of up to 20% on average and excellent performance even in low sunlight.

This solution is great for minimal impact as no guyed tower kit is required. Additionally, the vertical panels can be paired with a turbine mounted at the top of the pole to create an excellent hybrid system, making it an effective power supply year-round.  This solution works with any of our LE turbines.
